It is a busy time in Year 5/6 class at the moment as we are getting ready to go to secondary school. A lot of our work at the moment is project work ready for Penglais school. Our "Llyfrau Pontio" will make sure that when we arrive in Penglais the teachers will see the standard of our work and it will be the same work that all the children from the other primary schools have completed

My favourite activity in Glan Llyn was the high ropes course. first of all we were told how to put on our harness and tighten it ,next we walked to the high ropes course then we were spilt into 2 groups ,1 group went and did the parachute simulator the other went and did the high ropes course . I was in the group which did the parachute simulator first, it was freezing at the top , it was fun because when you jump off the edge you float for a bit then you swing and hit against the tower then fall down to the floor it was fun trying not to hit the tower as you went down, after we did that we swapped with the other group so we could have a go doing the high ropes course it was fun , at the beginning there was a gap that you had to jump then a rope with ropes dangling above you head that you had to pull you self across with . Then you balanced across a wooden log and then a metal cable when we finished we went back to our dorms to get a jumper and waited for the bell to go for our tea.
