Dear Parents,
Well the Easter Holiday is upon us and the school year is two thirds over. In this last couple of days I thought it may help to have a list of activities happening next term which I have listed below. May we take this opportunity to congratulate the children who performed so well at the County Eisteddfod last Saturday. We wish Joshua Ireland and the Parti Cerdd Dant all the very best having qualified for the National Eisteddfod in Cardiff in May. Congratulations to Kelsey and Celine also who sang beautifully last week.
It has also been an exceptionally busy couple of weeks with sporting activities for Netball, Cross Country, Football, Rugby and Swimming. Our congratulations to all children who have competed so well in these tournaments. It is a credit to them that they have played so well, but also shown excellent sportsmanship and manners at all times. Well done children!
Unfortunately this Friday is the last day that Miss Michelle James will be on the staff at school due to her contract coming to an end at the end of the financial year. We wish Michelle well with her studies, thank her for all her hard work and hope she will be able to join us again soon.
Please can we remind parents that it is not permissable for children to play in the school grounds unsupervised or during weekends and holidays.
A reminder also that school will close at 1:30pm on Friday for the Easter Holiday. We thank you for your support this term and wish you all a Happy Easter and look forward to a busy and exciting new term.
Yours sincerely,
Tom Fanning
