Dear Parents

Welcome back. We hop you had an enjoyable half term break and are ready for what is going to be a very busy few weeks in the run up to Christmas.

Supporting Children in Need Day on Friday there is a fancy dress event with children and staff dressing as "Famous Characters". We ask for your donation which we will forward to the NSPCC following their recent visit to school.

The PTA have asked me to inform you of various activities that they have organised and ask for your support with. Next Thursday 22nd November there will be a Bingo Evening for families starting at 6:30pm. Please note that this is earlier than the previous notification. Bingo nights have always proved to be a good, fun, family activity for parents, children and staff to socialise informally. We look forward to seeing as many of you as possible. And yes, of course, granny is welcome!

On Friday 21st December from 9:00am to 1:00pm the PTA will be packing shopping bags at Morrisons. We appreciate that this is the last day of school but the more parents who can spend an hour helping out the more financially successful the event will be. So please do give your name to the PTA and help raise funds for the children.

The PTA Grand Raffle this Christmas has some rather spectacular prizes and we ask for the support of each family to try and sell 10 books, which need to be returned before the 1st December, sold or unsold.

Children in Year 6 have been given the opportunity to watch a production of "Plas Du" at Ysgol Penweddig next Thursday 22nd November. We request a donation of £1 per child.

Below we list activities and dates which we hope will help you with your diaries and, should you have any queries or questions, please do not hesitate to contact us. Tickets for Christmas concerts will be on sale from 21st November.
