Dear Parents,

Christmas is coming! Therefore I thought it was best to let you know arrangements between now and the end of term.

Christmas concert tickets are now available and we ask you to order your tickets using the slip below. Due to the problems we have with overcrowding we are having to restrict numbers again this year. We will be selling a maximum of three tickets per family per performance and encourage parents with young children to attend the Infants' afternoon performance. Please note that there will only be one performance of the Juniors' concert again this year and it will be at Penglais School. Any tickets still available after Monday 1st December will be sold on a first come first served basis. We are unable to admit people without tickets or sell tickets on the night on safety grounds. We hope that you will recognise that this is not how we like to make arrangements, but accept the need to maintain safety with so many children and adults attending.

The PTA Grand Raffle this Christmas has some rather spectacular prizes and we ask for the support of each family to try and sell 10 books, which need to be returned before the 3rd of December, sold or unsold.

Please remember that Christmas Dinner in school will be on Wednesday 17th December. Children who usually have packed lunch but who would like Christmas Dinner need to bring £1.75 to school before Monday 1st December so that dinner can be ordered for them.

Although many have already heard, I am sorry to have to let you know that Miss Cathryn Davies (Year 1 teacher until 2006) was involved in an accident with a car in Cardiff two weeks ago and was quite badly injured. We are pleased to let you know that she has now returned to Aberystwyth for recuperation and will make a full recovery.
