Dear Parents,

Just a short note before half term to remind you of details of activities over the coming weeks.

Wednesday 24th October

Mrs Raw Rees's Class will be visiting Llancaiach Fawr. Could children please be in school at 8:30am and we expect to return at 5:30pm. Please remember your packed lunch and uniform.

Thursday 25th October

Harvest Festival - could the items for the hamper be brought by children into their own classrooms where they will be collected by the School Council. The Disco will start at 6:00pm and could children be collected at 7:30pm. We ask for 50p per child or £1 per family which will be collected at the disco and passed onto the Aberystwyth Night Shelter. Whilst the disco is on parents are welcome to attend a "Pampered Chef" party in the Year 5/6 classroom

School will close on Friday 26th October at the usual time of 3:30pm and will re-open on Wednesday 7th November. Out of School Club still have a few places available for the INSET days.

Wednesday 7th November

All children up to Year 2 will be attending the Arts Centre to watch "The Selfish Crocodile". Please remember that the children need to be in uniform for the visit. Children swimming in the Urdd Gala must remember their kit on the first day back after the break.

The Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal

Poppies are available in the reception area.

Friday 16th November

Children in Need Day - Children are welcome to dress up as any famous character and donations, at the discretion of parents, can be sent in that morning and will be forwarded to the NSPCC.

Monday 19th November

Children up to Year 2 will be attending the Urdd Sbri Diri in the Great Hall. A donation of £1 per child is requested.

Thursday 22nd November

The PTA will be holding their Family Bingo Night in the school hall at 7:00pm. All children, parents, grandparents etc. are welcome to attend.
