Dear Parents,
Just a short note to keep you up to date with arrangements over the next couple of very busy weeks.
The children will return from Cardiff at 6pm tonight rather than 7pm at Morrisons Car Park.
Sports Day. Will be held tomorrow, weather permitting. We will start with obstacle races and playgroup races at 10:30am. Sports Day will then resume after lunch at 1pm ending at hometime, 3:30pm. If the weather is poor, we will try the same arrangements on Friday. (It will then have to move until Monday 9th July). We are sorry about these arrangements but with such a full diary and poor weather we don't have much choice.
Friday 29th of June. Providing this doesn't become Sports Day it will be Fair Trade Day with the Fair Trade Picnic. We remind you that we ask for children to bring one item to eat themselves at the picnic. We will also play a game of football with a Fair Trade ball. In the event of bad weather we will have an indoor picnic (and probably a game of Blow Football!)
I have been asked by the children to remind you to send in your voting slip from last weeks Cambrian News for the Poster Competition. They are relying on your support.
There are still places available at the Summer Holiday Club. Please see posters.
The PTA have asked me to remind you of the need to return raffle books as soon as possible, although there are plenty more available. They would also like to remind you that the Fete will be on Thursday the 12th of July so please keep your diary clear for that evening.
School Trips will be held on Tuesday the 17th of July. Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 will be going to Tywyn and Talyllyn Railway. The trip will leave at 9am and return at 3:30pm. The donation for this is £7. Years 3, 4, 5 & 6 will visit the Greenwood Forest Park in North Wales. The trip will leave at 8am and return at 6:30pm. The donation for this is £10. Where families have a second or more children the donation is reduced by £3 per additional child. Please return the slip below as soon as possible.
Thank you for your co-operation in these matters and please do not hesitate to contact us if you have any questions at all.
Yours sincerely,
Tom Fanning
