  by Years 1 and 2

 

Children studied still life painting by Paul Cezanne. They created their own compositions and mixed paint to capture the warm and subtle shades used by the artist. Finishing touches, shadows and highlights were added with pastels and chalks to create depth and show the round shapes of the fruit.
